Alex Hammill
Founder

Alex Hammill built ICM with one goal in mind: to raise the bar for what private clubs should be. After years in the industry, he kept seeing the same pattern. Clubs were stuck in outdated models, slowed down by red tape, and managed under a corporate playbook that looked the same no matter where you went or who the membership was.
Before launching ICM, Alex served as an executive for two of the largest owner-operators in the country. That experience showed him the good, the bad, and the outdated approaches that were keeping clubs back from reaching their full potential. The slow decision-making, obsolete structures, and one-size-fits-all strategies he witnessed firsthand became a major reason he decided to step out on his own.
He knew there had to be a better way.
Alex built ICM to be the partner for clubs that want to think differently. His approach is hands-on, forward-thinking, and focused on delivering tangible results that members can see and feel. And the industry has taken notice. Under his leadership, ICM has earned more than 10 national awards, including multiple Golden Fork Awards, Top Innovator, and Best Amenities, among others, which highlight the creativity, execution, and member-focused excellence he brings to every project.
He’s known for challenging the status quo, introducing amenities no one else is thinking about, and turning underperforming clubs into modern, thriving communities. His background as both an owner and an operator gives him a unique advantage: he knows how to create experiences that members love while ensuring the numbers work for ownership and the board.
The clubs he partners with don’t just improve. They evolve. They become more relevant, more profitable, and more competitive in a market that demands fresh thinking.
For Alex, it’s simple. Every club has potential. Most just need the right leadership, a clear strategy, and a partner who isn’t afraid to break away from the old way of doing things.
And that’s exactly why he built ICM.
